All-on-4 Dental Implants
What Is All-on-4?
Dental implants are titanium posts that act as artificial tooth roots. These posts support restorations like dentures, dental crowns, and dental bridges to replace missing teeth, and also provide jawbone stimulation that keeps your jaw strong and healthy.
Typical implant dentures need several implants. The All-on-4 dental implant technique, however, uses just four strategically placed dental implant posts to support a full denture.
With the All-on-4 procedure, two implants are placed at an angle to maximize existing bone tissue. Once the dental implants are placed, your dentist will secure a custom set of dentures. There is no need for messy denture adhesive and no risk of slippage when you eat and speak.
Benefits of All-on-4 Dental Implants
Less Invasive
All-on-4 implants require only four dental implants to restore a full arch, instead of the normal six to eight implants required by traditional implant-supported dentures. The All-on-4 method also allows patients with mild-to-moderate jawbone atrophy to enjoy the benefits of implants without preparatory bone grafting.
Restored Function
Missing most or all of your teeth can make it difficult to eat and speak properly. Dental implants paired with a custom set of dentures allow patients to eat the foods they love and speak with confidence.
Restored Appearance
Patients suffering from tooth loss often feel embarrassed by their smiles, and may avoid speaking and smiling in public. The All-on-4 method restores one or both arches for a beautiful full smile you can't help but share.

Hear Why Patients Love Our Rock Rock Practice
My mother needed extensive dental work done in the midst of a pandemic and we're so grateful we found Dr. Ace. We probably we could have gone to someone else and pay a little less but we knew the work that she needed requires a true professional who knows exactly what he's taking on and my mind is at ease knowing my mother is under Dr. Ace's care. The team of staff here is also wonderful.
View on GoogleDr. Ace and his team are very courteous professionals. They truly make you feel important and treat you accordingly. Especially, Dr. Ace himself is very personal and makes you feel at ease during the treatment. I feel that choosing them was a best decision I made. I think they are better equipped and have better resources for doing such a long and complicated job. I am fully satisfied and happy, and I am looking forward for their post-treatment for my teeth. Thank you all for a wonderful job.

Recovering After All-on-4 Placement
Here are a few tips to keep in mind after All-on-4 implant placement:
- It is important to take medications as directed by your dentist. You can take over-the-counter pain medications to ease any discomfort, or your dentist may prescribe pain medication.
- Use ice packs to minimize swelling and soreness.
- Eat soft foods for the first few days after your implant placement. This will help reduce irritation to the implant sites.
Maintaining Your New Smile
All-on-4 dentures are not removable, so taking care of your new smile is easy. Once in place, your dentures will look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth. Be sure to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing twice daily.
Don't forget regular check-ups at our Round Rock dentistry practice for exams and cleaning.
