Dental Crowns
What Is A Crown?
What Do Dental Crowns Do?
Fortify Your Tooth
A weakened is more susceptible to further damage, like additional chipping or cracking. By placing a dental crown, our dentist can protect your tooth and prevent any other issues with your natural tooth, after a root canal, decay, or breakage.
Create a Uniform Smile
We use lifelike zirconia and porcelain to make sure that your crown fits in with every other tooth. That way, you have a stunning smile without any evidence of broken or decayed teeth.
Prevent Further Decay
Before he places your crown, Dr. Jovanovski will clean and treat your natural tooth. He'll only place a crown once the tooth is completely healthy. Once it's attached, the crown will prevent further decay and related dental problems, like infected root canals.
Restore Tooth Function
If you need a dental crown, you're likely having trouble chewing, or you feel regular pain when you try to hot or drink cold beverages. A crown will allow you to resume normal everyday activities, like biting into your favorite foods and smiling with confidence.
Our Dental Team Makes Round Rock Feel at Home
"Dr. Ace and his team are very courteous professionals. They truly make you feel important and treat you accordingly. Especially, Dr. Ace himself is very personal and makes you feel at ease during the treatment. I feel that choosing them was a best decision I made. I think they are better equipped and have better resources for doing such a long and complicated job. I am fully satisfied and happy, and I am looking forward for their post-treatment for my teeth. Thank you all for a wonderful job." Subhash Vohra
Keeping You Comfortable With Sedation Dentistry
From easing dental phobia to preparing your teeth for enamel to be removed, we strive to make your visit as calm as possible. We completely numb the treatment site with local anesthesia. Our team also offers three different kinds of dental sedation designed to put you at ease.
Oral Conscious
With oral conscious sedation, our dentist will give you a prescription. You'll likely take one pill beforehand or when you arrive at our office. Because this medication is so relaxing, you'll need a friend or family member to drive you to our office and home from your dentistry visit.
Nitrous Oxide
This is a great option for patients who want to drive home or get right back into their day after we place their porcelain or zirconia crown. Nitrous oxide will help you feel tranquil, and once the procedure is done, it swiftly leaves your system.
IV Sedation
In the case of more complex procedures, like extracting decayed natural teeth or placing an implant, you may opt for IV sedation. It offers the deepest effects, preventing discomfort and anxiety as we care for your teeth.
How Does Dental Crown Placement Work?
Concerned about how your teeth look or function? Don't worry — we can give you a temporary crown as you wait for your permanent one.

Lost a Tooth?
Consider an Implant-Supported Crown
Implant-supported crowns are different from traditional crowns. They're secured by a dental implant – essentially a screw that replaces your tooth root – and an abutment, which attaches the crown to the implant. The ideal patient for a dental crown has a missing tooth, or a tooth in need of extraction. If you're curious about your candidacy, our dentist is happy to discuss your options.
Choose a Team That Places Crowns and Implants
Not all dentists can handle every aspect of your care. Even if you find a dental team who can place your zirconia or porcelain crown, they may need to refer out to a local implant dentist or oral surgeon to handle your implant treatment.
Dr. Ace, though, is trained in all aspects of implant-supported crown treatment. That means you can go to the same team you trust, in the same office, for the same course of care. His work work on implants has also been published, such as in the Color Atlas of Dental Implant Surgery, 3rd Edition, making him a figure that other implant providers learn from.
Whether you need a traditional crown or an implant-supported restoration, he can handle your unique challenges. To begin, contact our caring dentistry team, serving the Round Rock, TX, area. You can also call us at

We Create Solutions For Round Rock
"I was referred to Dr. Ace by my dentist who said my teeth were worn out; cracked, broken, worn, grooves worn in them, and just looked and felt bad. Dr. Ace determined that he could install crowns instead of replacing them with dentures...Dr. Ace made every effort to keep me comfortable. And, when it was all over, after several months, I had a beautiful set of teeth....I felt more as a welcome guest than a patient. I'm so glad I did it." Dennis Love
Helping Patients
With a Dedication to Superior Care
Our Round Rock team is not beholden to the materials, tools, or techniques covered by insurance. This philosophy is actually a benefit because it gives us the freedom to provide more premium treatments.
We choose to use superior porcelain and zirconia to craft your crowns and high-tech scanners to carry out your care — methods insurance may not cover.
To make treatment more manageable, though, we can file with your insurance directly for reimbursement. We also accept financing from two lenders: Proceed Finance® and CareCredit®.
